Rebecca S. Adams, 65, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at her home. She was born November 24, 1949 in Normal, Illinois and was a former resident of Mundelein and Libertyville, living in Grayslake since 2014. Rebecca worked at Liberty Restaurant in Libertyville for over 20 years. She was an avid baker, gardener and loved to cook.
Rebecca is survived by her 3 children, Brooke Keating of Grayslake, Timothy (Laura) Keating of Libertyville and Rebecca (Ronald) Scharon of Harvard, IL.; 4 grandchildren, Joseph and Tyler Keating of Grayslake, Timmy and John Keating of Libertyville; 2 sisters, Penny (Herb) Bracher of Libertyville, Cindy Hogan of Mundelein and a brother, George (Chiqui) Connelly of Miami, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Barbara (nee Neirstheimer) Connelly.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18 at 11 am at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Rt 176, 1 Block East of Milwaukee Ave), Libertyville with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
