Frances Jendral (nee Hunyady – Listek) passed away at home May 1, 2015 at the age of 102. A woman of many talents and interests, Frances had been an R.N. (Ravenswood Hospital) since 1937. She will be remembered for her cooking, baking and knitting talents, her love of opera, and keen interest in politics. She was an accomplished artist completing many works as she moved from her 80s into her 90s. Frances was a devoted Chicago Bulls fan. The autographed Derrick Rose photo she received for her 100th birthday was proudly displayed in her apartment.
Frances was preceded in death by her second husband, Leo Jendral, her first husband, Fred Listek, and a son, Arnold. She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Lynn) Greener and Jon (Ann) Listek, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
