Clifford R. Sanderson, 82, of Libertyville, passed away June 8, 2015. Mr. Sanderson was born in Billings, MT and had been a resident of Libertyville since the late 1960’s where he was also a member of St. Joseph Parish. Mr. Sanderson had served as a pilot in the Air Force as a member of the 397th Bomb Wing.
Mr. Sanderson is survived by his children Mark Sanderson, Chris Sanderson, John (Veronica) Sanderson and Mindy (Al) Merone and his grandchildren Ryan, Katie, Sami, Luke, Nate, Scott, Flora, Matthew, Ali and Tricia.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Ann of 53 years of marriage.
Funeral Mass 10 am Saturday June 13 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville. Interment with military honors at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation Friday June 12 from 4 – 8 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Rt 176, 1 Block East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville.
